Officer Isevdrir Norgaard, along with his regiment of mercenaries, arrives in the remote province of Caellarch, recently conquered by the kingdom of Erea. They are supposed to maintain peace and order here, but the local invaders hate them, so there is no talk of order or peace. In addition, the regiment is tasked with destroying the Kaellarch rebel organization, the mysterious Circle, and the mercenaries, conducting the investigation, do not disdain either torture or murder.
