The Atlas is an illustrated textbook for students of pharmaceutical universities and faculties on pharmacognosy of all forms of education. The manual can be used during practical training and self-study. The manual consists of two parts. The first, general, part contains the basic concepts of pharmacognosy, brief information about the groups of biologically active substances contained in medicinal plant materials, harvesting, drying and ways of its use. A detailed description of the dosage form made from plant materials, "infusions and decoctions", is given. The second part of the manual includes information about medicinal plants and raw materials arranged in alphabetical order (morphology, range, harvesting, drying, storage, chemical composition and use). The text material is accompanied by photographs of the appearance of the medicinal plant and medicinal plant raw materials.The materials included in the manual may also be of interest to employees of the control and analytical service, raw material producers, doctors, as well as to a wide range of nature lovers, interested in medicinal plants.
