Palindrome (translated from Greek - running back) is a word or verse that can be read equally both from left to right and from right to left. In the Russian poetic tradition, palindromes have been present since the time of Derzhavin; Khlebnikov began to pay serious attention to them. But only in the works of Dmitry Avaliani (1938–2003) does the palindrome become a full-fledged form of artistic expression - natural and meaningful.
