The book includes two works by the famous Georgian writer N.V. Dumbadze (1928–1984): the novel “I See the Sun” (1965) - about a Georgian boy who lost his parents in the infamous year 1937, about his youth, difficult, complex, but warmed by the warmth of the people around him, and the novel “Don’t be afraid, Mom!” (1969), the hero of which also lost his parents in childhood and, growing up, tries to be a faithful son of his native land, honest, brave and noble, kind and merciful.
