Some critics call “Foxy-T” a classic of proletarian postmodernism. For some, this account of an alleged "love" triangle in "Banladesh" east London is simply a "cult" anti-novel; for others, it is an amusing attack on liberal literary values and the snobbery that accompanies them. Experimenting, as always, with street language, the author creates a caustic parody of the current crop of literary romance, which reveals the grotesque nature of social relations.
