The fifth, additional volume to the Collected Works of Mikhail Zhvanetsky is not limited, like the four previous ones (“Sixties”, “Seventies”, “Eighties”, “Nineties”), to one decade, but claims to be more - “Twenty-First Century”. The claim is justified: with the new century, Zhvanetsky overcame perhaps the most difficult pass - his own incredible, almost folkloric tape-television fame. Жванецький вміло поєднує гумор і серйозність, що робить його тексти неймовірно живими та актуальними. Я рекомендую цю книгу всім, хто цінує глибоку літературу, адже вона не лише розважає, а й змушує замислитися про важливі речі в житті. Читати монологи Жванецького — це завжди задоволення!
