Roman Shchipan was born and lives in the city of Kirov. Higher education - Kirov Agricultural Institute (now - VGSHA), Faculty of Economics, Department of Economics and Organization of Agricultural Production. Currently - a disability pensioner. He began writing poetry as a student, in his third year; later, he tried his hand at prose. Member of the literary club "Molodist". Winner of the prize named after. A. S. Green (1995). Poems and stories were published in the club’s collections over the years. The book offered to readers is an official expanded reissue of the collection of poems of 1997.
