Історія адвоката Мартіна Беннера, який намагається виправдати жінку, що зізналася у п'яти вбивствах, вражає своєю оригінальністю та глибиною. Особливо цікаво спостерігати, як Мартін, намагаючись розібратися в цій заплутаній справі, стає частиною великої кримінальної гри, не усвідомлюючи цього.
