Ten years ago, several high-profile trials took place in England in which women were accused of killing their small children. The jury's verdict relied on the findings of forensic experts. But an initiative group led by the famous television journalist Laurie Natrass achieved a review of these cases - on the grounds that the opinion of the main expert was allegedly biased and unprofessional. As a result, three convicts were acquitted. And after some time, one of them was shot dead at home. Then the prosecution's chief expert was killed. On their bodies, the police found strange cards with sixteen numbers written by hand. Laurie Natrass, who defended unjustly convicted women, received the same card. The police began an investigation into the double murder, suspecting that these may not be the last victims in the complicated case of child killers...
