During the New Year holidays of 2007, former police major Artur Turaev meets with his old friend, diplomat Lev Raynikov. He asks to help him fulfill the request of the missing Vyacheslav Voronovich - to make public an extensive “dossier” on two police generals, one of whom is Turaev’s immediate superior.
