Discovered and compiled by Platon Lukashgevich. - Kiev, in the printing house of I.K. Wallner, 1851. - 23 p. Word to the author: “It is known that the names of the accounts (numeral names) of the first ten, in all languages of the world, are surprisingly how diverse and in each individual language they are completely incomprehensible. Apparently, this is an empty phrase, an arbitrary set of words, so that these words or names cannot be explained in the same language in which they are adopted, without a special mysterious key. I completely understood this: I knew that these names could “superficially” have the meaning of “common people”, something like that. as I explained the Slavic account (which really is such) in enchantment, but it must certainly contain something interesting. Then, having examined these names of accounts more closely, I began to read them in all languages of the world.” This work, “The Key to Knowing, in All Languages of the World, the Direct Meanings in the Names of the Numeral Names of the First Ten, Based on the All-World Slavic Enchantment,” was published by Lukashevich hastily, a year after the also hastily published “An Example of Charm in the Word HUSBAND.” "Example." was published, according to the author, using only a tenth of the material. In this work (which is better studied after the “Example.”), Lukashevich also explains only “the smallest part of the new discovery stated in the title of this article.” In this work there is a hint of Lukashevich’s “discovered” connection between language and astrology: “Give me the names of the first ten accounts in the language of any people, in writing a few words I need, tell me at what latitude (no matter northern or southern) it lives and then we can correctly determine: on no matter where on the globe, these words, among a completely different people, have the same meaning in simple or reverse reading.”
