The book is divided into two blocks. The first block is devoted to the study and description of existing theories about myofascial meridians. The second gives a detailed and practically relevant description of the theory and practice of trigger points in osteopathy. The daily practice of an osteopath shows that the same patterns of damage can occur again and again. The authors explore the causes of myofascial meridians and chains. In search of commonality, comparing different muscle chain models and different osteopathic models, the authors present a new synthetic model of myofascial unity based on the unification of the nervous and myofascial systems. When conducting research, the authors also discovered that dividing the body into “blocks” closely correlates with the innervation of organs and muscles, which undoubtedly has practical significance in the formation of the disease and its treatment. Knowledge of myofacial relationships makes it possible to make an accurate diagnosis and appropriate treatment. The osteopathic way of thinking provides an interesting interpretation of the mechanisms that are involved in the formation of the disease and its treatment. The book is extremely useful for osteopaths, chiropractors, sports medicine doctors, coaches and fitness instructors. It is published in Russian for the first time.
