V. V. Prussak (1895–1918) lived a short and eventful life, managing to be a revolutionary agitator, a political exile, and a participant in the literary life of Siberia, Petrograd and Tiflis. His poems, marked at the beginning of his journey by the deep influence of egofuturism, have so far remained inaccessible to readers. The publication presents both of Prussak’s lifetime collections, “Flowers in the Landfill” (1915) and “Wooden Cross” (1917), as well as poems and prose from almanacs, collections and magazines.
