People think that the main danger for them lies in the offspring - eternal teenagers hiding in the ruins of ancient castles and living their own incomprehensible and frightening lives. No one knows why offspring began to be born to ordinary women; no one believes that there is no evil in their hearts, and no deceit in their thoughts. They have too unusual abilities. They are surrounded by hatred and fear. Townspeople and pirates, merchants and farmers fear them more than the werewolf Mangu, cadavrus or moroka. In a world inhabited by familiar monsters, people have declared a silent secret war only against the abominations, and anyone who is caught in contact with the inhabitants of the castles must die. But someone is already walking along the roads with his pipe, called to rid this world of infection. In different countries he is called differently - the Gray Flutist, the Catcher in the Rye or... the Pied Piper. Who is he? And what does he really want? Nobody knows this.
