The book by historian-ethnographer, doctor of historical sciences, professor A. B. Spevakovsky is devoted to the topic of military history and military organization of Japan throughout the entire period of the country’s existence. The author has lived in Japan for about 30 years, works at a university on the island of Hokkaido and knows this country very well.
