The book by Lyn Ullman, the daughter of Ingmar Bergman and the famous Norwegian actress Liv Ullman, is a delicate weave of memories and interviews with her father in the last years of his life, as well as detailed descriptions of places dear to Bergman on Fårø, where he visited in the summer and where he retired to end of life. The key topic of the interview that Lyn Ullman interviewed with her father was the process or, as she herself calls it, the art of aging.
