Yoga Course 121. Bhakti Yoga. As many manifestations of man as there are, there are so many different types, directions and sections of yoga. We have our ability to perceive the world sensually and emotionally. Bhakti yoga teaches us that behind everything that is truly beautiful, behind this lies the manifestation of some higher principle of the Universe. You can call it the Absolute, God, whatever you like. Where we grasp this Higher, we are drawn there, and where we do not see the Highest, we experience disgust and indifference. Bhakti yoga calls us to sensually understand the world, contemplation of the beautiful, the search for the beautiful - in itself yoga, that behind this beauty there is a higher principle that created the whole world.
