Vadim Zakharovich Rogovin (1937-1998) - Soviet sociologist, philosopher, historian of the revolutionary movement, author of a seven-volume history of the internal party struggle in the CPSU (b) and the Comintern in 1922-1940. In this study, for the first time in domestic and world science, the most extensive factual material from the most dramatic period of our history (from 1922 to 1941) was comprehended and linked into a single historical concept of development (completely different from the one that was imposed on us in Soviet times, and the one that is being imposed now). g.).The second volume covers the period of our history for 1928-1933. A picture of an irreconcilable struggle between the Stalinists and the legal and illegal opposition groups in the party unfolding, showing the falsity of the myths about the continuity of Leninism and Stalinism, about the “monolithic unity” of the Bolshevik Party. It tells in some detail what the “left opposition” actually proposed, how it tried to fight against Stalin’s forced collectivization and dispossession, against adventuristic methods of industrialization, bureaucratization of planning, social privileges, and a totalitarian political regime. The role of L. Trotsky as the leader of the “left opposition”, his alternative course for the socio-economic development of the country is shown.
