The report analyzes the most pressing problems of observance of the rights of indigenous peoples of the North of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), provides information on the consideration by the Commissioner of individual and collective appeals, on his proactive actions taken based on information about massive or gross violations of rights and freedoms, or cases of particular public importance, as well as proposals aimed at improving legislation, law enforcement practice and administrative procedures.
