Former intelligence officer and now lawyer Lang Reilly has been invited to London. His longtime friend, entrepreneur and philanthropist Sir Ion Witherson-Wilby is hosting a presentation of recently discovered ancient Coptic manuscripts. It is assumed that the scrolls contain previously unknown evangelical texts. The scientific world froze in anticipation of a sensation. And it thundered... At the very beginning of the presentation, unknown persons burst into the hall, kill the guard and kidnap Witherson-Wilby along with the manuscripts.
