The near future. The starship "Santa Maria" with a team of young colonizers leaves the Solar System and goes to the distant planet Demeter. The team goes into stasis sleep for 73 years. However, 40 years later, the captain awakens to find the ship in orbit around Earth. They are back? Why? Or didn't they fly away at all? Why can't I contact headquarters? Maybe this is just a bad dream, or a simulation? Should I wake up the team? After all, each plunge into stasis takes about 10 years of life and can easily deprive a person of the opportunity to go to Demeter again. You will have to find the answers yourself.
