And the director must also be a poet and politician, diplomat and business executive, philosopher and... sometimes just a tyrant. If director is truly a super profession, then one cannot help but admit that Mark Zakharov is a super professional in it. How else can we explain that every production in Lenkom, which he heads, becomes a real event for theatergoers, and film lovers see only one drawback in Zakharov’s films - that they are not released every year...
