The new book by the famous historian Arsen Martirosyan, “June 22, 1941: No More Mystery,” provides the results of a unique intelligence-historical analytical investigation into the military-strategic circumstances that ultimately led to the bloody tragedy of June 22, deeply refined on the basis of archival documents, memories and many years of research. In a brief but highly informative form, the outstanding contribution of the USSR intelligence community to providing senior political leadership and military command with all the necessary information is shown, several particularly dangerous myths about pre-war events are destroyed, in particular, the true reasons for the appearance of the legendary TASS Report of June 13/14, 1941 are established. ., a particularly vile myth about an obscene resolution allegedly written by Stalin’s hand on an intelligence report five days before the attack has been documented, and strictly based on German data, the real reasons for its attack on June 22 have been revealed.
