L. Prokushev. “Dictionary of Sergei’s epithets Yesenin (poems),” compiled by the writer and philologist A.P. Besperstykh, systematizes and describes 3,700 epithets. Each meaning of the epithet is illustrated with quotes from all of Sergei Yesenin’s poetic works, including variants and early editions of the poems. The dictionary will be useful not only to those who study Yesenin’s work, but also to all lovers of the apt, figurative Russian Word.
