Each little pawn is in a strange confidence that, having overcome all obstacles, it will certainly become a queen. In practice, everything may turn out to be a little more complicated, and, having gone through its difficult path, the figure ends up not crowned with glory, but thrown off the playing board. Somewhere beyond the edge of the field, where won-back pawns gather dust in oblivion and, perhaps, the ghosts of players live. But is it possible to scare the ghosts of two experienced trouble-seekers who fear neither deadly rituals, nor the creatures raised by the Comet, nor the Bloody Prince?
