New College, Oxford, received Rembrandt's "Nativity" as a gift from one of its professors. Many years later, the painting was stolen. The administration turned a blind eye to the theft, wanting to see it as an ordinary student prank, but, fortunately, at that time student Sherlock Holmes entered Greenville College, Oxford and successfully investigated his very first case. The story sheds light on a blind spot in the life and exploits of Sherlock Holmes and worthy complements the classic series of adventures of the Great Detective.
