The publication is a collection of ancient information from the 5th century. BC e. to the 6th century n. e. about India, China and Southeast Asia, translated from ancient Greek and Latin. Each translation is provided with notes. For the first time, the reader will have the opportunity to get an idea of what they knew in antiquity about the history, geography, zoology, botany, ethnography, economics, philosophy, religion, life and customs of this region. In general, ancient messages, on the one hand, characterize the interests of Ancient Greece and Ancient Rome concerning the East and its culture, and on the other, provide additional material on many unknown issues of the ancient history of these eastern countries.
