The Florentine Accademia Gallery was created in the 18th century at the oldest Academy of Fine Arts. The museum features masterpieces by Michelangelo Buonarotti, such as David and Slaves, as well as an extensive collection of early Italian painting, providing insight into how Renaissance art began. Walking through the halls of the Gallery, you can also feel the spirit of the Renaissance itself, Early and High. In addition, it exhibits works by mannerists, whose work ushered in a new era in Italian art that followed the Renaissance, and academicians of the 19th century. Cover: M. Buonarroti. "David". Fragment.
