Growing up, he becomes cruel and vindictive, taking by force what others do not want or cannot give him. But at some point he discovers a strange and frightening feature in himself - he can talk to God and he hears him. True, the god of Weasel is not a church god, not a god of rites and rituals, but a natural, simple and comprehensive god that humanity had even before the beginning of religions. Aleshkovsky poses a painful and very sincere question in his novel: can a monster deserve divine beauty during his lifetime? Is this right, should it be this way?
