Boris Aleksandrovich Ruchyev (1913-1973) - Russian Soviet poet, pioneer of Magnitka, member of the USSR Writers' Union (since 1934), laureate of the State Prize of the RSFSR named after M. Gorky (1967), author of three dozen poetry books. The main theme of Boris's work Ruchyova was a working Magnitka - the courage and humanity of its builders. Magnitogorsk is a city of metallurgists, in the construction of which he had the opportunity to participate. The traditions of Mayakovsky and Yesenin are closely intertwined in Ruchevsky’s work - it is no coincidence that he called these two his favorite poets. Glorifying the heroism and scope of Komsomol construction projects in his poems (“Industrial History”), Ruchev also created heartfelt cycles of poems about love (“Nightingale Time”). From the posterity of his first poems, which received the warm approval of the Soviet government (the cycle of poems “The Second Motherland”), in his later works he delicately writes out the depths of genuine feelings (the poem “Lyubava”). This was largely facilitated by the poet's careful, reverent attitude to the word.

The first volume of the Collected Works included poems, articles, speeches, interviews, notes, reviews. The second volume of the Collected Works included poems, letters, from diaries and notebooks.
