The book offered to readers is dedicated to the poet’s contemporaries, closely associated with him. These are: - friends of A. S. Pushkin from the Lyceum; - persons who introduced the poet into the world of practical life; - veterans of the Napoleonic wars; - persons who contributed to the formation of the poet’s worldview; - officials, including Tsar Nicholas I, with whom the relationship was Pushkin's works are very contradictory - from veneration of him as a person to the denial of all state activities of the emperor. In a word, this is a book about people who brought something into the life of the poet and influenced him spiritually and intellectually.
