BRIEFLY ABOUT YOURSELF Born in 1936 in the Arkhangelsk region. But for three years I was taken away from there. I spent my childhood in a rural orphanage above the Tolshma River, deep in the Vologda region. Major changes have been taking place in rural life for a long time, but for me the last waves of ancient Russian originality, in which there was a lot of beauty and poetry, have still arrived. I remember everything that happened in childhood better than what happened a day ago. I lost my parents at the beginning of the war. After the orphanage, so to speak, home was always where I worked or studied. It’s still like that. I studied at several technical schools, but didn’t graduate from any of them. He worked at several factories and in the Arkhangelsk trawl fleet. Served for four years in the Northern Fleet. All this was equally reflected in poetry. I tried to write poetry as a child. I especially love the themes of homeland and wanderings, life and death, love and daring. I think that poems are strong and durable when they go through the personal, through the private, but at the same time they need the scale and vitality of moods, experiences, reflections...
