Boris Sadovskoy (1881-1952) is a notable figure in the history of literature of the Silver Age. Before the revolution, he published 12 books - poetry, prose, critical and polemical articles, research works about Russian poets. After the 20s the writer's fate is covered with a veil. Oblivion saved him from reprisals: no one suspected that the poet was alive. This publication includes more than 400 poems, uncollected and unpublished poems from private archives and pre-revolutionary periodicals are published. Of great interest are the pages of Sadovsky’s biography, recreated for the first time using material from the archive of O.G. Sheremeteva. The electronic version additionally contains poems for unknown reasons that were not included in this paper edition. They are taken from the book: Boris Sadovskoy. Poems, stories in verse, plays and monologues. St. Petersburg: Academic project, 2001 - 398 p. (New Poet's Library. Small series).
