In the work of the cleric of the Holy Protection Church in Yerevan (Russian Orthodox Church), Hierodeacon Macarius (Petanov), the so-called Fatima apparitions that took place in 1915-1917. in Portugal, are examined documentary based on the memoirs of Lucia das Santos (the main recipient of the phenomena) and other eyewitnesses. Analyzing the light fabric of the phenomena of beings recognized by the Catholic world as an angel and the Mother of God, taking into account the dogmatic component of their “revelation”, drawing for comparison the Lourdes phenomenon (1858) and the experimental data of patristic asceticism - for a number of signs of the Fatima phenomena (the author puts forward 29 points) we have to talk, alas, not about Fatima grace and hope, but about Fatima seduction and delusion
