On behalf of the Petrograd Council of Workers' and Soldiers' Deputies, the internationalist Manifesto “To the Peoples of the World” was sent to Europe. The revolution spreads across the country, the author shows us the front, the village, the railways, the Church, the Don Cossacks, the Volga merchants and returns each time to Petrograd, where the reader observes how the self-appointed Executive Committee actually controls and directs the Provisional Government. In the editorial office of Pravda there are disagreements between the faithful Leninist follower Shlyapnikov and Kamenev, who arrived from Siberian exile (to overthrow the Provisional Government or to support?). Lenin from Zurich negotiates through the German ambassador for his unhindered passage with a group of like-minded people through warring Germany - to Russia.
