It just so happened that they don’t look into the barrel of a donated tank... And the boy Sasha received a New Year’s gift from his parents. New school backpack. Just not quite ordinary. As soon as a child crosses running water with this backpack, you are in a fairy-tale world. But things are not going very well for fairy-tale heroes. Koschey clears abandoned cities of walkers. The heroes are in anxiety day and night - gamers wandering into fairy tales consider them raid bosses. And Baba Yaga urgently needs a large-caliber machine gun for a stupa... and fairy-tale creatures would not refuse anti-aircraft missile systems with thermal guidance heads at all. So they threw a “saddle bag” into the real world, to establish contact, so to speak...

Author’s notes: We would define the genre of the story strangely: a brutal children’s story. The story of the growing up and struggle of a twelve year old boy. He gets into such troubles that even an adult would have difficulty getting out of them. But together with their father, a special forces soldier, and grandfather, a writer (and mother, a dentist), the reckless family manages to establish a balance between the old fairy-tale world and the modern, fantasy world. The peculiarity of the story is in the sense of brutality... well, at least in the fact that everyone here is male the characters have names. But the female heroines have no names. Even my mother's dentist. The only exceptions, perhaps, are Marya Morevna, Tsar Maiden, Usonsha the Bogatyrsha and White Swan Zakharyevna... in short, the owner of so many pseudonyms that any revolutionary would be jealous... But we hope that you will like “this” brutal creativity for children))) PS (from Rinat). In general, the original idea and some fairy-tale creatures were invented by my eldest daughter, Karina, when she was 8 years old...
