Author’s notes: We would define the genre of the story strangely: a brutal children’s story. The story of the growing up and struggle of a twelve year old boy. He gets into such troubles that even an adult would have difficulty getting out of them. But together with their father, a special forces soldier, and grandfather, a writer (and mother, a dentist), the reckless family manages to establish a balance between the old fairy-tale world and the modern, fantasy world. The peculiarity of the story is in the sense of brutality... well, at least in the fact that everyone here is male the characters have names. But the female heroines have no names. Even my mother's dentist. The only exceptions, perhaps, are Marya Morevna, Tsar Maiden, Usonsha the Bogatyrsha and White Swan Zakharyevna... in short, the owner of so many pseudonyms that any revolutionary would be jealous...
