Nikolai Pavlovich Zadornov (1905–1995) is a famous Russian Soviet writer, Honored Cultural Worker of the Latvian SSR (1969). He has written two cycles of historical novels about the exploration of the Far East by the Russian people in the 19th century, about the exploits of explorers.
