After the defeat in the Civil War, the most ardent opponents of Soviet Russia did not give up hope of victory and organized the People's Labor Union (NTS) to wage an ideological and political struggle against the Bolsheviks. With the Nazis coming to power, the NTS actually became a division of Goebbels’s propaganda apparatus, as well as a supplier of recruits for the Wehrmacht reconnaissance and sabotage schools.
