Not intending to accept his bitter fate, the guy makes a daring escape, crosses the border and hides in neighboring China. Having learned about this, Sudzha abandons her studies and her wealthy parents and sets off in search of her lover. What lies ahead for both is pain, fear, despair and... hope for a meeting.
