This kind and touching book is essentially the diary of Dasha’s dad for three years. Various scenes flash before the reader, in which the peculiarities of the behavior and speech of a child learning about the world around him are accurately noted. Dasha, like all kids, reacts in her own childish way to literally everything, and dad subtly and thoughtfully comments on the motivation of his daughter’s actions. In the collection of “stories”, or rather sketches from family life, the author shows that education is a mutual process, in which the most important thing is love and trust. And with this everything is in order in the Zaikin family. The book ends with a small selection of poems about Dasha. Some of them were included in Nikolai Zaikin’s poetry collection “Intervals of Being,” published by the Vremya publishing house in 2011.
