At the beginning of the 20th century, Holy Rus' said goodbye to the great ascetic, who during his lifetime was called the “All-Russian Father,” the Kronstadt Archpriest John Sergiev. He called his autobiographical work “My Life in Christ.” Only a righteous man could so boldly say about himself, every day of whose life was lived with Christ, in Christ and for the sake of Christ. Equally perfect was the life of the modern ascetic of piety Archimandrite Naum (Baiborodin; 1927–2017). Many of those who knew Father and to whom he is dear, we wove this scroll of memories in the hope that what he taught would be useful to his contemporaries in life.
