The Caribbean crisis escalated into World War III. The opposing sides no longer follow any rules or laws. Whoever wins is right, that’s the main motto. The US Navy and Marines are landing troops in Kamchatka. The landing has two purposes. The primary goal is to seize a bridgehead from which it is possible to attack other territories of the USSR: Sakhalin, Primorye and Eastern Siberia. And the second is the seizure of a huge piece of territory not contaminated by radioactive fallout. And this territory is defended by very insignificant Russian forces - so it seems to American admirals and generals. True, the Russians have a different opinion, but who cares?
