The Third World War, which began in the fall of 1962, is gaining momentum, everything is used: atomic weapons, poisonous gases, military viruses. Fighting is already beginning in the most remote corners of the planet. And immediately the fighting there, even in such a bad corner as Kamchatka, became extremely fierce. And even though in the global strategy of confrontation between the two superpowers everything described in this book is only minor episodes, behind each unit in the loss figures, behind each erased symbol on tactical maps there are hundreds, even thousands of lives. This is what local battles really are.
