Книга "Чукотка" - це не просто роман, а справжня документальна хроніка, яка відкриває читачеві двері в унікальний світ чукчів наприкінці 1920-х років. Автор, який був директором школи-інтернату, майстерно поєднує особисті спостереження з етнографічними даними, що робить оповідь дуже живою та правдоподібною. Читач має можливість зануритися в повсякденне життя чукотських дітей, їхні звичаї, традиції та виклики, з якими вони стикалися під час навчання. Хоча деякі проблеми можуть бути згладжені, це не зменшує цінності книги як джерела знань про культуру та історію цього регіону. Оформлення художника А. Блахова додає особливого шарму, підкреслюючи атмосферу описуваних подій. Рекомендую цю книгу всім, хто цікавиться етнографією, історією та культурою народів Півночі!
