Philosophers have always been interested in eternal questions: how does the world work and why did we appear in it? What gives life meaning - good deeds or pleasure? Obey the laws or your own conscience if they contradict each other? Is there anything higher than the interests of the fatherland? Why doesn’t a person’s happiness always depend on his virtues? Of the many similar questions, the author gives preference to one of the most practical: how to live to be happy? And philosophers answer it, each in their own way.
