This book is about Tashkent, which does not exist and will never exist again, about events imprinted in the memory of people who once lived there and are now scattered around the world: from Canberra, Los Angeles, Kaliningrad and Haifa to St. Petersburg, Toronto, Minsk, London, Augsburg, and other large and small cities and towns. Its second part includes stories that happened mainly in Germany, as well as in Russia, the main characters of which are emigrants and migrants who moved here, including from Tashkent.
