Three Brontë sisters tried their hand at the literary field, but the eldest of them, Charlotte, author of the popular novel “Jane Eyre,” achieved the greatest fame. The book includes chapters of the writer’s unfinished novel “Ashworth” - so bright and promising. They were translated and published in Russian for the first time.

The work was published as part of the author’s collection published by the Eksmo-Press publishing house in the “Foreign Classics” series in 2001.
