Isaac Rosenberg (1890–1918) was an outstanding English poet. During the First World War he fought on the Western Front. Killed at the Battle of Arras. His poems are considered one of the most striking human documents of the past tragedy. The name of Isaac Rosenberg is immortalized on the stone tablets of Westminster Abbey - in the famous corner of English front-line poets. In Russia, the poet’s work remained little known.
