The encyclopedia contains about five thousand articles, the authors of which are more than four hundred famous scientists - specialists in various fields of philosophy. During the preparation of this publication, some clarifications and additions were made. In particular, the first volume contains an article dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Institute of Philosophy of the Russian Academy of Sciences; the fourth volume contains a name index for all volumes.
