The novel “Gold of the Taiga” consists of three parts. The heroes of the first part of “Gold,” students of the Leningrad State University physics department Henry and Zhenya, end up at a secret military facility, where they stumble upon traces of a treasure and meet mysterious forces storing gold in the taiga. The action of the second part of the novel “Varenka” takes place against the backdrop of tragic events at the beginning of the 20th century. The events of the third part “Lake” unfold in the 90s of the last century. Young guys, the lost generation of the nineties, go to the taiga, to a zone where, according to rumors, from the times of the USSR, a nuclear charge remained unexploded during an experiment and treasures are hidden in a lost place.
